I wanted to find a quick and easy marinade to bring out the natural flavors and juices of the steak. The beauty of a marinade is that it not only flavors the steak but tenderizes it as well. Now that is what I call efficiency. Today I will go with Garlic Rubbed Tri Tip Steak With Parsley Coriander Butter.
Hope you will like it!
How to make Garlic Rubbed Tri Tip Steak With Parsley Coriander Butter
- 1 pack ButcherBox Tri Tip Steak
- 3 Tbsp garlic salt
- 3 Tbsp pepper
- ¼ c butter, salted and roomtemperature
- 1 Tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ lb fresh carrots
- 4 small russet potatoes1 red onion
- 3 tsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Combine sea salt, garlic salt, and black pepper and rub over both sides of the tri-tip. If possible, allow meat to marinate in the seasonings for 3 hours and let the meat come to room temperature for about 1 hour before cooking.
Brush with chimichurri butter and allow meat to rest for 10 to 15 minutes in a pan near the heat.
Slice the tri-tip ¼ to ½” thick, against the grain and with the knife at a slight angle.
