Garlic Rubbed Tri Tip Steak With Parsley Coriander Butter is a great summer dish for entertaining or cooking at home and it’s so easy to make! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one of these tri-tips, just as long as they were rubbed with garlic and parsley coriander butter.

It is a simple yet flavorful dish that will make you forget about all of those other over-complicated dishes out there. The garlic and parsley provide strong aromatics, while the coriander butter adds a nice kick to an otherwise mellow dish. How to make this meal

I love this recipe because you don’t need much preparation time before starting cooking and there are different ways that you can cook the steak. You can grill them over coals until browned outside and then finish off by broiling, or use an indoor electric skillet if grilling isn’t available, but either way they come out really delicious no matter how they are cooked.

The best part of this dish is the sauce that it comes with- parsley coriander butter. When I first heard about “coriander” in a recipe, I had to do some research on what it was and found out that it’s an herb related to cilantro but more spicy and pungent (source: web). That made so much sense to me because when you add garlic and parsley in there too, those flavors balance each other out really well for one delicious meal!

Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs. tri-tip roast
  • 4-6 ears corn, shucked and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 red jalepeno, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bottle Garlic Marinade
  • 2 tbsp. Buttery Steakhouse Seasoning

Step by step Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut the tri-tip roast in half and season with salt, pepper and Buttery Steakhouse Seasoning. Place both halves on a cookie sheet lined with foil for easy clean up later (source: web).
  3. Roast until well browned on one side then flip over so they are browned all around, about 20 minutes total cooking time (source: web)
  4. Remove from oven when finished roasting and let rest for five minutes before dissecting into individual portions or cutting them off the bone as desired; using tongs is an easy way to separate meat from bones without touching it too much. The roasted garlic will have become crispier but still edible ( source: web). Garlic Rubbed Tri Tip Steak With Parsley Coriander Butter
