Garlic Rubbed Tri Tip Steak With Parsley Coriander Butter

I wanted to find a quick and easy marinade to bring out the natural flavors and juices of the steak.  The beauty of a marinade is that it not only flavors the steak but tenderizes it as well. Now that is what I call efficiency. Today I will go with Garlic Rubbed Tri Tip Steak With Parsley Coriander Butter.

How to make Garlic Rubbed Tri Tip Steak With Parsley Coriander Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 pack ButcherBox Tri Tip Steak
  • 3 Tbsp garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp pepper
  • ¼ c butter, salted and roomtemperature
  • 1 Tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ lb fresh carrots
  • 4 small russet potatoes1 red onion
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instruction

Combine sea salt, garlic salt, and black pepper and rub over both sides of the tri-tip. If possible, allow meat to marinate in the seasonings for 3 hours and let the meat come to room temperature for about 1 hour before cooking.

Brush with chimichurri butter and allow meat to rest for 10 to 15 minutes in a pan near the heat.

Slice the tri-tip ¼ to ½” thick, against the grain and with the knife at a slight angle.
