Allowing my fussy eater to lounge around in her pj’s and eat breakfast at her leisure for a whole 6 weeks was lovely! But we’re struggling to pick up the pace now that we need to be up, fully dressed, fed and out the door before 9am!
This smoothie was such a success and I was really pleased how quick it was to throw together in the morning.

Chocolate Banana Breakfast Smoothie
- 200ml milk (Cow’s, Almond, etc)
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp oats
- 1 tsp cocoa
- 4–6 ice cubes
Measure oats and chia seeds into blender.
Blend until ground into a fine powder.
Add everything else into the blender. Blend on high power until completely smooth, scraping the sides of the pitcher halfway through if any ingredients are sticking. Serve immediately.
